A unique time of year to capture family photos.Winter is a magical time for photography, especially when it snows. The snow creates a beautiful and serene backdrop for any photoshoot. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely family of five in the midst of a snowy wonderland. The family consisted of a mom, dad, and three energetic boys. They were all bundled up in warm jackets, hats, and gloves, ready to brave the cold weather for their photo session. After some rambunctious play, the family removed their coats and were ready for some posed photos. Prior to the photo session, I advised mom to dress everyone in layers, so outwear can be removed for different looks during their photography session. We chose a local park that was covered in a blanket of fresh snow. The snow-covered trees and benches created the perfect setting for our photoshoot. The family arrived, and we began capturing their precious moments. We started with action shots as the family warmed up. As the session progressed, I encouraged the family to interact with each other naturally. We captured moments of the boys playing together, building snowmen, and having snowball fights. The parents joined in the fun, and we captured some beautiful candid shots. Then we moved on to some posed shots, making sure to highlight each family member's unique personalities. The boys were full of energy, running around and playing in the snow. As a photographer, I was excited to capture their love and energy in the snow. Despite the cold weather, the family was full of energy and enthusiasm throughout the entire session. They embraced the snowy weather, and we captured some stunning photos that truly captured their love and joy And, remember, it's very important to get some photos of mom and dad by themselves as it's somethings that families overlook. And I know they will appreciate all the photos in years to come.
