Behind The Lens

CATSMAC Photography by Cathy and Jenn Schofield is a team specializing in weddings, maternity, newborn, baby and family photography. We are based out of Peterborough, Ontario, and will travel to various locations outside of Peterborough. Our philosophy is a simple one: keep things as real as possible. Our style of photography is very natural and expressive and our photographs convey a sense of life, capturing mood, expression and emotion through the lens and portraying them with artistic vision. We tell your story through beautiful photographs.

About Cathy

Cathy has a unique style with an ability to capture the naturalness of delicate emotions and intimate moments. She believes that no two photography sessions are the same, but, ultimately the end results are the same - that is, a portrayal of beauty, love and happiness through photography. She approaches each image as a work of art, rather than simply a photograph and will sometimes employ extreme close-ups, creative cropping and a variety of special techniques to enhance the mood of the image. 
 

  

About Jenn

Jenn has a fiery passion for photography, boundless energy and a keen eye for detail. These are the qualities that make Jenn the ideal wedding and family photographer. She has trained with two wedding photographers over the past 5 years. Jenn's passion is baby and child photography and has been seen down on the floor with children at their level playing with them to capture their antics.
