It's Prom season! And high school students all over are getting ready for their big night. Along with graduation, it marks the end of high school, and the beginning of a new time in life. Meghan and Ava came to us for some quick prom photos before leaving for their memorable evening. They were a great couple to work with, and their colour coordination was just perfect. We are so happy to see all students this year graduating and, after the last two years of Covid, able to finally have a fun-filled end of their school year.
Graduation from Grade 8 is such a special time. But what makes it more special is graduating with friends that you've known since Kindergarten! These four best friends will be going separate ways in September, and wanted some special photos to remember this exciting time in their lives. And I'm sure they will stay best friends for a long time, looking back on these memories in years to come. Creating Memories with Custom Photography Because Life is Beautiful.
Jessica and Nathan are expecting their first baby really soon and wanted some photos to commemorate this. We chose to use our property in Cobourg that offers lots of trees and green space offering a natural environment. Both Jessica and Nathan wore the clothes that they were married in! A really unique idea for this wonderful down-to-earth and laid back couple. Congratulations on your upcoming arrival.
Elopements are special. They are unique and personal. They are relaxed and memorable. They are very intimate. It's like a little secret that's happening. I absolutely love being a part of them.
Life is busy. That’s just a fact. We get caught up in all of our responsibilities with school, sports, work, family, and everything in between. Even the day-to-day things can take up all our time: keeping up with the housework, keeping everyone fed and happy, getting to bed on time, doing homework… It’s so easy to let other things like family pictures slide. But the truth is: your child will only be this age for a short time. The moment you freeze in time with a camera will never come again, and it’s so important to be able to have something to look back on to remember these precious times. It’s so important not just to have digital files but actual physical pictures that you can keep and pass on to future generations. You can tell stories to your kids and your grandchildren about their aunts and uncles, their cousins, their parents. It’s something that they can hold in their hands, something that will never go out of date and will never be lost in the overabundance of online files, either. For example, look at some of the pictures from a recent family photo session. Life is busy. That’s just a fact. These photo sessions were so very well received and allot of families came out to capture these important times. Can you imagine how happy these mom's were to know they will have these to look back on in year to come? And the kids, when they are older, will cherish these also.
When we think of graduation, we think of college or university, especially with Trent University and Fleming College being so close by. However, there are other graduates that deserve recognition, and those are grade 8's and Kindergarten. Going into high school is a major change. You are grown up, no longer with the juniors, but in a new environment and preparing for adulthood. And Kindergarteners, they grow up sooo fast. Big school now. Capturing these special achievements are a must.
