I have been a wedding photographer in Peterborouh, Ontario, for quite a few years and in that time I have noticed that there are two types of clients, those that make photography their priority and those that don’t.
I know how hard it is to organize a wedding, visiting venues, arranging meetings with suppliers like florists, cake makers and dress shops. Especially in Peterborough where our choices are limited. And all this while you are at work during the day makes it especially hard, all your free time in the evenings and weekends become consumed by your wedding. So when it comes to booking a wedding photographer you can become overwhelmed by the choices available and take the quickest and easiest option.
You could say I have a vested interested in telling you why photographers are so important, but all things considered you should put a lot of emphases on it.
Here are six reasons why I think it is so important.
This couple wedding was perfect. Lots of great people and fun by everyone. It's so nice to see a beautiful couple who are obviously in love get married in the presence of their family and friends.
They choose to have their formal photography at Griffin's Greenhouse near Peterborough. And the weather was perfect.
Wedding are about love. They are about family. They are about friends. They are about sharing and rejoicing. They are about forever and always. They are about fun and good times. They are all about remembering those times. That's why it's so important to have your memories recorded professionally. Memories last forever. So do your photos.
These moments can never be repeated. Here are a few special shots from this beautiful wedding. We were so happy to capture this for them.
There is something so idyllic + romantic about elopements and the thought of exchanging your vows surrounded by nature and water. John and Joanna were married in a sentimental, private ceremony at the beautiful Stillwater on the Lake in Fowler's Corners, near Peterborough. The couple had no attendees and no guests. It was just them, the officiant, the host of Stillwater and myself (Cathy) the photographer. Getting to share their union and devotion to one another was something that I will always cherish.
