This beautiful bride and groom chose the exquisite Northumberland Forest to tie the knot. The backdrop of greenery, trees and foliage was simply stunning and the ceremony was small and intimate. I love it when brides and grooms choose an out of the ordinary place that is special to them to get married.         This little slice of heaven where Diana and Illia eloped is called Stillwater on the Lake, just outside Peterborough, Ontario on Chemong Lake. In the first photo, Diana is walking down the Dahlia Walkway to meet her husband to be at the gazebo right on the water. In the last photo, they are both walking back up the Dahlia walkway. They did their first look by the Gazebo overlooking Chemong Lake and we took some amazing photos in the gardens. This place is absolutely beautiful and filled with colour of plants and flowers. It's truly an amazing place elope and get married.                           Announcing a new endeavor by our third photographer, Justin. He has been working as a real estate photographer for 5 years now, and has just started his own business, Ontario Homes Photo Service, offering photography, video, iGuide/floor plans and drone work. Justin is very passionate about his work and it shows! He is an excellent photographer and his attention to detail is astounding. He is very personable and both home owners and real estate agents praise his work. He helps sell a home! Take a look at the video and photos below. Justin is services the GTA, Durham, Northumberland and Quinte areas.          What's fun about an outside birthday and cake smash photo session? Everything!! The birthday girl or boy can let loose, have fun and indulge. The parents have no worry about clean up, the birds and squirrels love it too! And the photographer gets to laugh and get some great shots. The best yet is the warm tub of water the baby gets to sit in and play. We provide everything. You just bring the baby!  This intimate elopement at Stillwater on the Lake outside of Peterborough was absolutely gorgeous surrounded by lush greenery and flowers. Christina and Bill tied the know at the lakeside gazebo decorated to the nines with flowers and made their ceremony spectacular. Along with their two witnesses, we enjoyed the gardens taking our time for photos.       Taking maternity photos at the beach is special. For this maternity session we chose an evening shoot for the lower sun angles. The weather was perfect with the setting sun, and the gentle waves and warmer water. While we photographed Jaycee, her partner and her little boy played in the sand and enjoyed the water waiting for the moment they were needed in the photos. It turned out to be a magical session with some great photos!         With Jenn's makeup and hair trial done ready for her wedding in August, we took advantage of getting some beautiful engagement photos at Cobourg Beach and Boardwalk. The weather was perfect with the lower sun angles. Can't you just see the love they have for each other?       The idea behind an elopement is being relaxed and having fun...and these guys did exactly that! Sarah and Kyle totally rocked this day! And their best friends were there on hand to witness and celebrate their union. Kyle had not seen Sarah's dress and we did a first look right at the alter. After they said their vows and exchanged rings, they signed the marriage certificate. And then the fun began! And, of course, ended up with some smashed wedding cake in the face. Whose face? Well, scroll down to see!               As photographers we have lots of patience. Especially with small kids and dogs but sometimes you just can't get the photo you want. However,I love this photo! It tells a story and that what photographers do. We can see the love this family has for their 3 dogs and that's what makes this photo so special. It might not be the one they print and hang on their wall, but it is definitely a memory.   This was such an amazing and beautiful wedding! The bride and groom looked stunning and could not stop smiling all day long. We enjoyed celebrating the union of two different cultures surrounded by their family and friends in a small backyard ceremony in Baltimore, Ontario. The scenery was so gorgeous and the day perfect. Congratulations to you both.        |
