It's hard to say goodbye

Having a dog will bless you with some of the happiest days of your life. And one of the worst. Saying Goodbye. Goodbye is hard, but we all know it has to be done.
These two families know that the time is coming, and asked us to do a photoshoot with their pets giving them memories of their four legged family members.

Tess is a Shepherd and St. Bernard cross with a very gentle disposition and a lovely red coat. Her humans have her on meds to control her congestive heart failure and is enjoying her time at home lazing around.

These girls below came with their humans for a quick shoot as they are getting on in age and Snowflake, the white retriever, has lymphoma. 

They enjoyed a short walk around and some loving cuddles.

Unfortunately, Snowflake passed away the day after our session. I was so glad I could capture these photos for this wonderful family.
