A Beautiful Wedding at Cobourg's Victoria Town HallCobourg's City Hall also known as Victoria Hall is a beautiful place to get married. It's 19th century architecture boasts high ceilings and thick wood trim throughout and named after Queen Victoria. It's a designated heritage building with lots of beautiful natural light from the windows which makes photography stunning. In the three story high building sits the courtroom, a deep-well courtroom modeled after the Old Bailey in London, is a stunningly beautiful room, 26 metres long by 14 metres wide, with trompe I'oeil architectural details--pilasters and moldings--painted in fresco on the walls and elaborate floral friezes painted on the ceiling. Many couples enjoy having their wedding ceremony held here and these two were no exception. It was a pleasure to photograph their wedding amid the beautiful architecture of Victoria Hall.
