Hi! We’re Jenn and Cathy — a woman-led photography team based just outside Cobourg, Ontario. With over ten years of experience, we’ve had the joy of capturing weddings, families, newborns, engagements and more across Northumberland, Durham, the Kawarthas, Peterborough and beyond.
We believe every story is unique—and worth telling with authenticity, light and fun. Whether it’s grandparents joining a family shoot, a bride wearing her grandmother’s dress, or puppy paws crashing the Christmas session (yes—dogs are absolutely invited), our goal is the same: to deliver photos that feel like you and that you’ll treasure.

I'm Cathy, and I'm a photographer with a passion for capturing beautiful, intimate moments. I got my start by taking courses at Humber College of Arts and Design and training with some amazing professionals. In 2007, I founded CatsMac photography (named after my beloved pet), and since then, I've been steadily building up my portfolio and reputation.
One thing that sets me apart is my ability to capture the naturalness of emotions - the beauty, love, and happiness that radiate from my subjects. Sometimes, I'll use extreme close-ups or creative cropping to enhance the mood of the image, or employ special techniques that add that extra bit of magic. So whether you're looking to capture a special moment with a loved one, or you need professional photos for your business or brand, I'm here to help! Hey there, I'm Jenn and I'm so excited to be part of the CatsMac team since 2012! When I'm not busy being a mom to my 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter, you'll find me travelling to capture life and memories through my camera lens. I am also studying part time at Trent University working towards a masters in Psychology. My fiery passion for photography has taken me on adventures to different parts of the world.
I've got boundless energy and a keen eye for detail, and my special gift of creativity really helps me bring out the best in every photo. Whether it's capturing the perfect shot of a beautiful sunset, or freezing a hilarious moment in time, I'm always up for a challenge! |
