We’re Jenn and Cathy, a woman-led photography team based in Cobourg, Ontario. For more than ten years, we've had the privilege of capturing life's most meaningful moments for families, couples, and businesses throughout Northumberland, Durham, the Kawarthas, Peterborough, Brighton, Belleville and beyond.
Photography is about more than taking pictures—it's about preserving memories, relationships, and stories. We love documenting the genuine moments that make each person and family unique: grandparents sharing a laugh with their grandchildren, a bride honouring family tradition by wearing her grandmother's wedding dress, or a beloved family dog stealing the spotlight during a photo session.
Our approach is relaxed, fun, and focused on creating an experience you'll enjoy just as much as the final images. Whether we're photographing a wedding, welcoming a newborn, celebrating an engagement, capturing a growing family, or hosting one of our popular mini sessions, our goal is always the same—to create beautiful, authentic photographs that reflect who you are.

I'm Cathy, and I'm a photographer with a passion for capturing beautiful, intimate moments. I got my start by taking courses at Humber College of Arts and Design and training with some amazing professionals. In 2007, I founded CatsMac photography (named after my beloved pet), and since then, I've been steadily building up my portfolio and reputation.
One thing that sets me apart is my ability to capture the naturalness of emotions - the beauty, love, and happiness that radiate from my subjects. Sometimes, I'll use extreme close-ups or creative cropping to enhance the mood of the image, or employ special techniques that add that extra bit of magic. So whether you're looking to capture a special moment with a loved one, or you need professional photos for your business or brand, I'm here to help! Let's work together to create something truly amazing. |

Hey there, I'm Jenn and I'm so excited to be part of the CatsMac team since 2012 When I'm not busy being a mom to my 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter, you'll find me travelling to capture life and memories through my camera lens. I am also studying part time at Trent University working towards a masters in Psychology. My fiery passion for photography has taken me on adventures to different parts of the world.
I've got boundless energy and a keen eye for detail, and my special gift of creativity really helps me bring out the best in every photo. Whether it's capturing the perfect shot of a beautiful sunset, or freezing a hilarious moment in time, I'm always up for a challenge! |
