As a photographer, some sessions feel truly historical, and my recent newborn shoot was exactly that. This beautiful new arrival holds the special title of being the very first baby born at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg this year! It was an honor to document their arrival not in a studio, but right where their journey as a family begins: their home.

The In-Home Experience: A Natural Environment

In-home newborn photography is all about embracing comfort and capturing genuine, unscripted moments. My philosophy centers on minimal intrusion and maximum authenticity.

• Baby's Natural Rhythm: I work entirely around your newborn's schedule. There's no rushing, only patience, allowing the baby to feed, sleep, and just be in their natural environment. The result is relaxed, happy photos that reflect the reality of those precious first days.
• Comfort & Ease: Parents can relax, change outfits easily, and use the nursery for feedings without stress. The images capture you exactly where you spend most of your time—cuddling on the couch or rocking in their new room.
